The much-anticipated classic Star Trek ship, Excelsior, made its Star Trek Online debut today. It's available both in a Tier 3 version for Commander-ranked players, as well as a "refit" Tier 5 version for Rear Admirals and above. The Tier 3 is available for purchase via in-game "energy credits" (although it can't be "bought" with the free starship plaque given at Commander rank like the other Tier 3 ships are), while the Tier 5 version can be purchased for 1200 Cryptic Points (roughly $15 or so) through the Cryptic Store. - Cecil Adkins
